Profile
The Lady Mildmay is the first listing in our “Wine Pub” category. You’re transported to a cosy and welcoming environment when you step inside, perfect for unwinding with friends and family over a pint or a glass of wine.
One of the standout features of the Lady Mildmay pub is the impressive selection of quality wines listed on their chalkboards which are frequently updated.
Gluten free Beer is on tap, a welcome option for all those Celiac or who prefer a lighter beer.
Although the Lady Mildmay pub doesn’t have a garden, there is still plenty of seating inside. There is a spot for everyone, from cosy booths to large communal tables. As a result, the atmosphere is buzzing, especially on weekends when the pub is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
If you’re feeling hungry, the Lady Mildmay pub is known for its delicious food and is well known for its Sunday roast. The beef is succulent and perfectly cooked, and the accompanying roast potatoes and vegetables are delicious. Be sure to arrive early, though, as the Sunday roast is very popular, and the pub can get busy.
In summary, the Lady Mildmay pub in Newington Green is a must-visit for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming traditional British pub experience. With an impressive wine selection, plenty of seating, and delicious food, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing evening or a leisurely meal.

One of my favourite pubs in the area for a few glasses of wine but also a good selection of Gluten Free beer on tap. Wines are chalked up on a board behind the bar, and the quality is good, with enough by the glass to suit most pallets. If you’re passing by and looking for a glass or two, pop in here.
