The Shoreditch Wine House holds a special place in my memories, where I practised with a fellow Sommelier for my exams. It’s thanks to businesses like Shoreditch Wine House (SWH) that are not only founded by Sommeliers with decades of knowledge but are happy to provide an excellent experience for wine lovers of all levels.

Tucked down a little side alley off the main street SWH transports you away from the hustle and bustle outside to a quiet indoor/outdoor courtyard experience.  You can grab a bottle from the shop and go, or settle into one of their quirky seating areas.

The wine list is EXTENSIVE here, with over 250 labels. So now, here’s the joy of visiting this bar. You don’t need to know all of your regions and varietals, explain what you love to drink, and they will nail it with some options.

Small plates are available here if you get peckish, perfect for meeting friends or even a romantic date, as it’s a pretty relaxed atmosphere.
